Went to the pictures the other week (god your probably thinking no wonder your fat and skint and always ranting!!) Anyway wanted to see Tron oooohhhh 3d imax how fab, I have to say I was excited (I dont get out much you know) With my cardi in hand as is'nt it drafty in the pictures even after like 20 years you still get a draft from somewhere, well at least you dont hear the pigeons cooing on the roof like the olden days not like im fifty before you cheeky sods get any ideas. Well in we go and im thinking hope its as good as the first Tron, My beloved wants the gallery seats as he likes to pretend we are rich even when i'll prob be selling a thing or two on ebay next week! Well we finely get to the front of a big saturday afternoon cue and the girl serving is lovely and we explain what we want and then she says
"that will be £44 please"
"excuse me did you just say £44" gulp gulp splutter!!!!
"yes thats right Miss" (she didnt say miss thats just me wishfull thinking)
Im starting to sweat a bit now and my beloved has lost about 4 inches in height as hes slumped right down with disapointment/ horror, minutes pass (more like seconds but it was one of those slow motion moments you experience more and more in life were you extremely uncomfortable) the girls still beaming at us (prob thinking yes got me a couple of suckers here)
Before I can blink my beloved has his card out in a whooosh and its paid for £44 bang just like that OMG is that justifiable!
I shuffle away no longer quite as fluffy and bouncy as before and then the rants start directed towards my beloved who looks to shocked to actually hear me.
we do get free popcorn, diet coke, and some quality street but dont get excited most of them were bloody toffees (bet all the staff ate the best ones!)
The seats were fab and very comfortable and the film was amazing, but do yourself a favour save it for a special occasion, or like me u'll be trashing your house to find some stuff to sell on ebay just hope he doesnt miss the DS games I sold ooops.
